Found out about Thacher how?
Both of my sisters attended

What I like best about living/studying at Thacher:
I love the relationships that you form at Thacher. Not only do you get to live with your best friends, you live in an environment that allows you to form relationships with your teachers as well. The teachers that I have gotten to know will have a lasting impact upon my life and I will keep in touch with them long after I graduate.

My favorite class is/classes are
Mexican History because the country itself fascinates me (and you go to coffee every Thursday for class).

People at Thacher—peers, schoolmates, faculty, staff, others—who have influenced me positively and how:
All of the advisers that I have had have had a profound impact upon my life. The advice and support they offer you goes so much farther than the realm of academia, and is one of the best things, in my opinion, about Thacher. It is so comforting to know that you can consider the home of your adviser, your own second home, with the door always open (and as importantly, the freezer door always open to you) whenever you need.

Advice for someone thinking about going away to school or specifically coming to Thacher:
Certainly Thacher is not for everyone; to thrive here you have to be motiivated, independent, and willing to work hard; the type of education you get, and the environment in which you exist, however, will indisputably be worth the hard work.
