In English class, we have just finished The Loved One. Instead of writing a paper, I have the opportunity to write my own short satire. I'm actually having a lot of fun writing it: I decided on doing a sort of 'mockumentary,' on female and male relationships. For example, in part of the document I wrote a section on advice for men who wish to interact with females and the language I use is similar to what 'The Croc Hunter' might have used when approaching a man-eating predator. Here's an excerpt:
"Women are able to detect fear and doubt upon advance; therefore, the perceived persona of an approacher is of the utmost importance- it may define the success or failure of the following exchange."
The project is definitely letting me flex my creative hand...
