Dead Week Can be Lively

Ah, the infamous 'Dead Week.' The lethal-sounding name actually refers to the transition week between sport seasons. We have currently just begun Dead Week and now what would normally be our sports period has morphed into a time for studying or workouts in preparation for the upcoming sports or maybe some time to just take a breather. I am using this new available time to get started on more work (yay!). Actually, because of our new schedule (having changed from a semester system to trimesters) we have projects due in some classes instead of exams (so that not all the classes have final exams every trimester). Although there's still a lot of work to be done, I now have the opportunity to do projects in classes like Math, which is not a class in which you often find yourself writing a project paper or doing creative pieces.

I should also mention that the Varsity Football Team and several Varsity Cross Country members have qualified for their respective 'playoffs'--so sport seasons are not over for all of us!
