Springtime

Springtime at Thacher is definitely my favorite time of the year. The weather's good, everyone's on good terms with each other, and the whole atmosphere of the community is much more relaxed.

I love watching lacrosse and baseball games on the weekends, and it's by far the best  time of the year for riding. Gymkhana last year was great. The races provided tons of fun and excitement, and of course Big Gymkhana Family Weekend is for sure the big event of the year. I'm sure even watching from the sidelines instead of riding will be nearly as exciting.

The other great part about spring is the EDTs (Extra-Day Trips). I have countless memories from my EDT last year to Paria Canyon, in Utah. I went with a great crowd and faculty leader and the trip was just incredible.
