Hey, I’m Kristen, and I currently live in Saudi Arabia. I started at Thacher two years ago as a freshman. I heard about Thacher through my school and through another student currently attending Thacher.

What I like best about living/studying at Thacher:
The Thacher community is very close and as well as having tons of time to spend with your friends, it’s easy to develop positive/close relationships with other students and faculty.

My favorite classes are
math and history because they’re interesting, and a little bit easier for me than my others.

People at Thacher—peers, schoolmates, faculty, staff, others—who have influenced me positively and how:
Thacher provides a positive atmosphere in which everybody encourages you to reach your full potential, but in a non-competitive way.

Advice for someone thinking about going away to school or specifically coming to Thacher:
Thacher—or any boarding school—probably won’t be what you expect, but whatever it is, will turn out great.
