I’ve finally finished all of my exams, papers, and projects. It seems crazy to me that I will graduate in two days; four years have gone very quickly.
Tonight, we celebrated the end of the year with our All-School Banquet. Then, the drama class presented the material they worked on, follwed by Senior Night Live. The evening passed very quickly, leaving little to no time to realize that tonight was our final night at Thacher with the entire school. Most people in the dorm are feeling mixed emotions; they are happy to move on to new experiences but sad to say goodbye to the good friends they’ve made.
In three days, I will head back home. This summer, I’ll be working at a wedding chapel and a clothing store. For the past three years, I’ve worked at stable by my house. Even though I throughly enjoyed the work, my bosses and my co-workers, I knew that this year, I wanted to try something new. I feel that the wedding chapel and store will be a huge change that will entertain and challenge me.
Since I will be away from Thacher this summer, I doubt that I will have much time to write my Thacher Blog entries—but you can expect some updates from me later in the summer.
