The Best Year Yet

by Jordan :: Monday September 26, 2005

Another year has started and as always, readjusting to the sometimes surreal lifestyle of the Thacher campus is going smoothly. Between balancing a rigorous course load, helping to captain the varsity football team, and being involved with virtually all the other events on campus, my life is once again filled to the brim with good times and “character building” experiences.

Senior year holds a greater amount of responsibility, which is becoming apparent through both my work in the dorm (I’m a Senior Prefect) and by my simply trying to set a solid example of the Thacher way to all the new faces around campus. Academically, I love my class schedule. I am taking classes which are truly interesting to me and by the end of the year, I hope to have a confident base in psychology, statistics and economics, as I am leaning towards a business-oriented route through college.

College! I can hardly fathom the reality that are college applications, but with a more than willing people in our College Counseling office, I believe i will get through this process relatively painlessly.

All in all, this year is shaping up to be “the best year yet,” as we say every September.
