Sweet

This past weekend was Faculty Dessert night on Saturday. I went to the Carneys' house where we enjoyed delicious brownie sundaes made from scratch. Options in other Faculty homes included crepes, German chocolate cake, and even a homemade wedding cake. It was good to have something completely sweet after our bittersweet loss to Cate earlier that day on their football field. The unfortunate part is that we lost; however, we came together as a team and played on a level far beyond any that we had before. Our coach, Mr. Hooper, put it best when he said losing is unfortunate but at the end of the day we played as a team and elevated our play to a level that can challenge anyone in 8-man football.
