Year #1--almost over!

Freshman year has been a great experience—a lot about meeting new people from all over the globe and getting to know them better and better as the year progresses. The Horse Program has provided lots of learning experiences and good memories. One in particular is playing tag in the Polo Arena. These weekly games of tag have provided us with an opportunity to use all of our skills we have accumulated over the course of these months of riding. The trails are another fun aspect of riding. They allow you to explore the beautiful Thacher land and bordering national forest. The Horse Program is all about teaching you to put your needs behind that of your responsibility to the horse.

During the year we have learned our strengths and weeknesses as well as those of our horse. It allows for an opportunity to continuously better ourselves. It is a wonderful experience and if I was asked to choose, I would do it again. (I also play varsity basketball and lacrosse.)
