A Lot of "Lasts"

Senior year has started at 100 miles an hour, as all of us are rushing to get college apps finished and trying to do well in our last first quarter. There seem to be a lot of “lasts” happening this year. Last night was the seniors' last Cate-Thacher dance, and soon we all will watch our last fall play. Many don’t feel the nostalgia setting in yet because, as I said before, every senior is in a rush, spending his or her weekends writing college applications or Senior Exhibition proposals, but it’s times like this, sitting here writing a blog, trying to summarize an entire month in a few paragraphs, when we seniors recognize how important this school and this community has been for all of us. I only hope that this isn’t my last blog entry.
